The carvings in Southwell Minster are delight to find. They appear to be placed in every nook and cranny, looking out at the present world, concealing a message from the past. They are often referred to as "The Leaves of Southwell". There is a wealth of fauna, native to the area, many faces, portraits, animals and the famous Green Men. Grouping some of the elements together in a simple grid format allows the viewer to create a new narrative.
